SHIPPING POLICY

Processing Time

As a small, family-owned business, all of our pralines and King Cakes are handcrafted to order. We typically process and ship orders within 1-3 business days of placement. Please note that we do not process or ship orders on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

During peak seasons, including Mardi Gras and major holidays, processing times may be extended. If there will be any delay in shipping your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Shipping Methods

We ship via USPS and other trusted carriers to ensure your order arrives fresh. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, carrier delays, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control. Southern Fixings is not responsible for shipping delays and cannot offer refunds or reimbursements for late deliveries.

Perishable Products

Our pralines and King Cakes are perishable items that require prompt delivery and retrieval. We carefully package all orders with appropriate insulation and cooling materials when necessary; however, we cannot control conditions once the package leaves our facility.

 

Address Requirements

Due to the perishable nature of our pralines and the need for timely delivery, we cannot ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Boxes. All orders must be shipped to a physical street address where someone can receive and sign for the package. This ensures your pralines arrive fresh and in perfect condition.

If you provide a PO Box or Parcel Box address, we will contact you to obtain a valid street address before processing your shipment.

Weather Considerations

During extreme heat or cold, we may delay shipment or require expedited shipping to protect product quality. We will contact you if weather conditions affect your order.

Tracking Information

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships. Please monitor your tracking and retrieve your package promptly upon delivery.

Shipping Issues

If your package is lost, stolen after delivery, or returned as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, please refer to our Refund Policy. Additional shipping charges will apply for reshipment of returned packages.
